NYS Pistol Permit Recertification

Enter your personal information as it appears on your NY Driver’s License or Non-Driver ID. After completing the required fields, enter the CAPTCHA at the bottom of the page. You have the option of starting a new recertification or retrieving an incomplete recertification. Select the "Retrieve Recertification" button only if you have previously started the recertification process and then exited; otherwise, select “New Recertification”. At any point during the recertification process you may select "Save for Later" to save your progress and complete the recertification at another time.
